I have been working on a support project and it starts tomorrow. Stachehangers, like the name suggests are hangers that are in a shape of a mustache. They will be sold at Reykjavík Corner Store and in some Icelandic shops in support of the Icelandic Cancer Society.

I finally finished photographing the "doll project"! As you can see they're actually shoes. Not the kind of shoes you can walk in but the kind of shoes that make a statement since they're called the Icelandic expension vikings aka the bankers who bank robbed Iceland and helped other countries getting bank robbed. I made a special album in their honour. But here I'm going to post the x-rated pictures, where the heads accidentally? started to roll etc.

I got some new pictures from the stuff I made in metal design class this semester. I'll post some of them here. In another news, the parts for the machine are stuck in the custom here in Iceland so that's something I guess. Just hope they'll fix it quickly! And the support project is going swell. I've found everyone I need for it and they're all doing it for free, so all the money will go to Iceland Cancer Society, now it's just playing the waiting game :)

I've been working on a project to support the Iceland Cancer Society. I designed a mustache hanger and it will be for sale next March when the so called Mustache March will be held here in Iceland. It has been going really well to find companies to collaborate with me on the project to my surprise!

This project isn’t a product in itself but it’s more of a funny performance art. I’ve consulted with a lawyer about how far I can take the joke but it’s not exactly as far as I wanted but I don’t want to get sued so the concept has to be enough and people have to use their imagination a little bit.

Last post I was so excited about DesignMarch but we didn’t get to be in their formal brochure because we havn’t finished art university so we blew the exhibition off. It’s not as stiff in the acting and music business with education! Anyways…

We checked out Gallerí granda! It’s such a fun and beautiful place, we will have an exhibit there after ca. 2 weeks on Design March like I’ve said before.

I’ll have a exhibition on Design March with Hafdís and Vilborg in Arca (www.arca.is) and Unnur (under Dimma design on facebook) in Gallerí Grandi 22. – 25. March I will premiere a new design called jewelry hanger and of course exhibit some of the other designs as well.

I think I will start blogging here since my new website that I just updated has that option. The English translation will not be entirely correctly written/phrased since it’s too time consuming to look it all up, but it’s hopefully understandable
